Therefore the LORD waits to be gracious to you, and therefore He exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.

For I will proclaim the name of the LORD; ascribe greatness to our God! "The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he. (Deuteronomy 32:3-4)

Rightly concerns Israel who have been unfaithful; but the principles apply to all: God's grace is sufficient for all (2 Cor  12:9); He is "just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus" (Romans 3:26). The world hates Him, but eventually will be required to acknowledge Him as LORD. We can ascribe greatness to Him now, in word and deed.
