Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
Isaiah 7:14

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
Isaiah 9:6-7

Christ, the saviour of the world is born; and today we totally forget him - yet the Hebrew "Immanuel" used in this verse "means God with Us"! Christmas was, for a while, a time when we remember that birth, but now, even Christ the child has been removed; secularism has forced him out. But this is expected - the evil one wants nothing to do with the Saviour; but we do have a short window of opportunity to explain the true meaning of Christmas. Churches need to focus on the need for a saviour - sin in the world leads to death and eternal separation from God. It is believing in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who died, was buried and rose again that our sin is forgiven. Do you believe in Jesus Christ?
