Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.

These words placed here by the Holy Spirit, are given to give the exact representation of His position, before going on to describe His rejecion by nation Israel. He came not in power and wrath, but gentle and lowly, the Son of God, redeemer and saviour - the servant King.
