Zechariah 12:1-4

The burden of the word of the LORD against Israel.
Thus says the LORD, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him: "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness [trembling] to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem.
And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.
In that day," says the LORD, "I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.

One needs great care when handling the word of God, especially when it comes to prophecy. The verses shown here rightly belong to the End Times – and is the second round of prophecies of YHVH concerning His people, Israel, which Zechariah term’s YHVH’s Burden – because of the wickedness of those that want to, once for all, rid the world of Jews. The prophecy ends with the establishment of the Messianic Kingdom demonstrating the abject failure of the world’s armies in defeating YHVH.

It is of interest to day, because world wars I & II ushered in the return of Jews to their land (Genesis 17:8 etc.) in unbelief, and Jerusalem becoming the centre of attention of the whole world, as Zechariah said it would. Today the situation is no different. The enemies of God seek to destroy Him in particular and Jews in general. They will fail

And the LORD will be king over all the earth. On that day the LORD will be one and his name one. Zechariah 14:9
