And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.

This is the eternal state which can only be entered when all opposing forces have been done away with including death which has been annulled. Satan and all those opposing Our Heavenly Father have been banished; there is no fear. Relationships are perfect - there can be no more grief, no more tears.
