That person has full confidence in the Lord and knows "He does not afflict willingly and that" the LORD "will not cast off for ever." And again, "though He cause grief, yet will He have compassion according to the multitude of His mercies." A believer learns from the Lord's discipline and wisdom allows application to his or her life.
