For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.

You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one!

Whoever believes in the Son [Jesus Christ] has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

Do not procastinate

Proverbs 27:1

Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what a day may bring forth.

This directive concerns boasting about what we will do tomorrow, when we should be seeking how to do those things today. The proverb is less about boasting per se, although no wise person will not boast save in Christ Jesus (Romans 2:17; Galations 6:14), but rather its saying; look at me, I've no need to achieve such-a-such today, for I will do it tomorrow — its about procrastination.

The foundation truth is true wisdom is not founded on a future that may never come, or an event that may never occur. On on the other hand we cannot dwell on the past. While we have today, we must busy outselves and live and act and leave nothing undone which can be done today.

For the unbeliever, this is an imperative: salvation from the wrath of God and its enevidablt consequence of Hell. Salvation is offered today—now is the day of salvation. And for believers consider how many have been lost forever by procrastination, by thinking a more convenient time would come.
