Leviticus 19:15-17

"You shall do no injustice in court. You shall not be partial to the poor or defer to the great, but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbour. You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people, and you shall not stand up against the life of your neighbour: I am the LORD. You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you incur sin because of him."

The principle of holiness for the people of God is relevant for all ages; God demands all to be holy. Such people are governed by conduct that God ordains; that of love, which is manifested as set out in this ordinance. There should be no injustice or slander among the people of God. Purity should flow from the believer’s lips arising from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith (1 Timothy 1:15).
