To the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord

In recent times there has been a dismal failure of the church to fulfil her purpose of displaying, in action, the manifold wisdom of God; which is that He sent His son to die for the sin of the world. Apostasy through mediocrity has destroyed the ability of the Church to display the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
