Current situation

A strong high pressure system east of Tasmania will maintain a ridge over SA this week. A cold front will pass over the south again on Saturday and weaken with a high pressure system to follow over waters south of the Bight on Sunday.

23 Thursday

Dry. Morning fog patches about eastern and southeastern districts. Maximum temperatures above average, near average in the northeast. East to northeasterly winds, fresh at times during the day in the west.

24 Friday

Dry. Cloud increasing across the west. Maximum temperatures above average, near average in the northeast. Northeast to northerly winds, freshening about the west during the day.

25 Saturday

Showers developing about western and southern coastal districts, extending to remaining parts of the agricultural area later in the day. Maximum temperatures above average. Northeast to northwesterly winds freshening ahead of a southerly change moving over the west and south during the day.

26 Sunday

Showers about the agricultural areas during the morning, clearing to the east during the day. Maximum temperatures near average. Southwest to southeasterly winds, fresh at times near the coasts.

Cumulative rainfall totals to the end of Sunday: up to 2 mm about southern coasts. Up to 5 mm about western coasts and Eyre Peninsula, mostly on Saturday.
